We’re pleased to announce the arrival of our first Wheel Mark Eradicators from Amazone. We’ve known about these for a while and are pleased to showcase them at our Spalding and Dereham depots.
Designed for operation on light or unconsolidated soils, they are ideal for trailed drills and cultivators, of any brand to cover the wheel marks by loosening and levelling the soil. Hydraulic control enables automatic lowering and lifting on the headland or when folding for transport.
The eradicator hitches direct to the tractor rear linkage, between the tractor and the implement.
“The ability to utilise front mounted attachments is increasingly popular but this often means losing the ability to fit wheel track eradicators” Ref David Thompson, Amazone’s UK Marketing specialist. “Our eradicator solves this problem, while also allowing the use of proper deep working subsoiling tines to remove compaction behind the tractor wheels. Moving the pivot position back also allows tighter headland turns due to increased clearance behind the wheels”
The working depth adjusts by pivoting the disc assemblies within the frame, so the frame angle doesn’t alter. Clearance between the frame and ground remains constant and so it is also better for mounting the front attachments”
