Operational base:
Ramsey St Marys depot or Ely depot, relocating to new Chatteris depot later in the year.
As we restructure, we’re looking for an enthusiastic Agricultural Parts Assistant to join our dynamic team.
The Role
As a key player in our Parts Department, you’ll work closely with the Parts Manager to ensure smooth daily operations. You’ll assist customers in identifying the parts they need, manage stock, place supplier orders, and help maintain an organised, efficient workspace. Every day is different — but every day, you’ll be helping our customers and engineers keep the machinery running.
Don’t worry if you’re new to the industry — we offer full training and support. What matters most is your willingness to learn, attention to detail, and dedication to great customer service.
You’ll Thrive in This Role If You:
Have great people skills and enjoy helping customers — face-to-face, over the phone, or via email
Work well both independently and as part of a team
Can keep calm and stay organised during busy seasons
Are comfortable using computers and online systems
Take pride in maintaining a tidy workspace and handling stock with care
Have an eye for detail — especially with numbers and orders
Bring experience from agriculture, construction, automotive or similar sectors (a bonus, not a must)
Have mechanical knowledge or an interest in machinery and farming
Essential requirements
Valid full driver’s licence.
Able to work alone using your own initiative and as part of a team.
Can do attitude to resolve issues.
Maintain acceptable levels of standards and discipline.
A degree of flexibility required to working hours as there is a requirement to respond to out-of-hours call outs and work overtime.
Ideal Experience
Parts assistant: 2 years (preferred)
NVQ or related qualifications (preferred)

Working Hours
44-hour week: Monday–Friday
Saturday mornings on rotation: 7:30am–12:00pm
