We’re looking for an enthusiastic Garden Machinery and Groundcare Service Manager to join our dynamic team.

The Role

Responsible for delivering service support to customers with garden machinery and groundcare products you will be based within the Parts team.  Managing a team of engineers to carry out PDI’s, Inspections, repairs, overhauls and work to company policies and procedures. Responsible to ensure Health and Safety is followed and implement within the department.

  • Overseeing the planning, execution, and maintenance of garden machinery and groundcare  equipment.  Support and guide engineers to resolve faults
  • Organising collection and delivery of units to the depot for repairs to keep work flowing to ensure high utilisation of engineers.
  • Keeping customer updated, managing and dealing with expectations and queries.
  • Work to KPI’s
  • Manage and process information using company IT systems and programmes
  • Process digital data from engineers to invoice.
  • Supporting other relevant roles due to holiday and sickness.

Essential requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in aftersales, preferably in Horticultural or Agricultural industry.
  • Strong technical knowledge of garden machinery and groundcare industry-related equipment/products.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Ideal Experience

  • NVQ or related qualifications (preferred)

Working Hours

  • 40-hour week: Monday–Friday
    • Saturday mornings on rotation: 7:30am–12:00pm
    Daily commute
  • To live within daily commute of Chatteris.
