We are looking for an enthusiastic Parts Administrator to join our dynamic team.

Operational base
In depot working – Chatteris

Role

Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will be responsible for the smooth processing of parts purchase invoices.

Responsibilities

  • Analyse supplier invoices and credits received
  • Ledger parts purchase invoices and credits against parts orders and returns, ensuring all transactions are correctly recorded and reconciled to the point of payment
  • Providing administrative support to Parts Manager and Group Parts Manager, including assistance with monthly reporting
  • Supporting wider administration team
  • Other general office duties eg sharing responsibility for answering incoming reception calls and ensuring they are directed to the relevant department, assisting with meeting refreshments etc.

Ideal experience

Applicants should possess demonstrable work experience obtained in a very similar administration role, ideally with purchase invoice processing experience.

Required skills

  • Good knowledge and understanding of IT, confident using Microsoft office programmes to include Word and Excel
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, switching between tasks, whilst maintaining a high level of organisation
  • Process driven approach, ensuring extensive levels of accuracy and efficiency in all administrative tasks
  • Be self motivated, showing initiative, with the ability to work well with others
  • Effective communication skills both verbal and written
